Since February, we have been offering midwife visits in the home environment, covered by health insurance.

The care is intended for women in the postpartum period and is provided exclusively by midwives from Apolinář, who are specially trained and have undergone long-term training directly in the Apolinář environment. Thanks to this, they provide uniform, highly professional and sensitive care based on the long-standing tradition and experience of this workplace.

The aim of the service is:

• strengthen postpartum care
• ensure its better accessibility
• seamlessly connect care in the maternity hospital to care at home

 A midwife can help you with:

• breastfeeding 
• healing after childbirth
• adaptation to a new period of life
• early recognition of physical and psychological difficulties
• supporting mental health after childbirth

Every woman who gives birth at Apolinář will receive a request form for these visits upon discharge from the maternity hospital. Use of the service is completely voluntary.
