The Mamocentrum was founded in 2000 and was equipped with the help of the V. Polak Foundation, a racing driver who financially supported research in the field of early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. It is part of the Radiodiagnostic Clinic of the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University and the General Hospital. It is not only a screening but also a super-consultation workplace. The center participates in the education of medical professionals and young doctors.

The center is currently equipped with the latest mammography machines (Hologic) with the option of tomosynthesis (3D mammography) and contrast mammography. It performs all examinations from mammographic screening to magnetic resonance imaging, core-cut biopsy, vacuum biopsy and stereotactic localization.

We perform examinations using top-of-the-line Canon Aplio sonographers. We perform magnetic resonance imaging in the main hospital complex at the central X-ray clinic (building A7, 2nd basement).
