Our hospital is full of skilled health professionals who demonstrate exceptional skills and creative thinking in their field.

Last week we awarded the most talented of them in the under-35s category. The director of the VFN, prof. MUDr. David Feltl, Ph.D., MBA, based on the recommendations of the evaluation committee headed by prof. MUDr. Pavel Michálek, Ph.D., DESA, M.Sc., at the proposal of the heads of clinics or institutes of the General Hospital and the heads of independent departments of the General Hospital.

The number of publications, scientific activity, achieved titles or specialized competence in the field play a role.

Out of 14 nominees, we awarded 5 excellent doctors this year for the period 2020 - 2021:

  1. place - MUDr. Michaela Bártů, Ph.D., Department of Pathology, General Hospital and First Medical Faculty, Charles University
  2. place - MUDr. Anna Valeriánová, Ph.D., 3rd Department of Internal Medicine, General Hospital and 1st Medical Faculty, Charles University

Ing. Jaroslav Červeňák, Ph.D., Institute of Nuclear Medicine VFN and 1. LF UK

MDDr. Antonín Tichý, Ph.D., Department of Dentistry, General Hospital and 1st Medical Faculty, Charles University

The young generation of our doctors is a clear positive business card of their mentors, medical professionals from the General Hospital, who stand behind them and systematically lead them. For the sake of completeness, let us add that the winning "young scientist" for the period 2018-2019 was MUDr. Jan Šoupal, Ph.D.

Congratulations to all talents!
