The doctors of the Gynecological Oncology Center of the VFN Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic won a big space at the congress of the European Society of Gynecological Oncology (ESGO) in Berlin!

The advantage of the clinic of Prof. David Cibula presented an important project defining new international guidelines for the treatment of cervical cancer. The project was created with the significant contribution of experts from the Czech Republic and prof. Cibula is its main coordinator. A member of the project's international working group is also prof. Daniela Fischerová, who specializes in oncogynecological ultrasound. MD Roman Kocián and Prof. Jiří Sláma presented the results of the large international studies SENTIX and FERTISS, which our oncogynecology center has been coordinating for a long time.

In addition, the Oncogynecology Center has once again received the accreditation of the ESGO Center of Excellence for the radical treatment of advanced fallopian tube malignancies. International accreditation guarantees the highest level of surgical treatment for patients with one of the most serious forms of cancer and ranks us among 20 such centers in Europe. Congratulations!
