The main objective of the DISARM project is to improve the identification of individuals at increased risk of ovarian cancer and to implement procedures that have shown promise for early detection of the disease.
The DISARM project includes the following key pillars:
Pillar A focuses on the assessment of hereditary breast cancer risk in routine healthcare and examines multifactorial risk stratification compared to standard practices in 4 EU Member States (Lithuania, Portugal, Czech Republic, Greece).
Pillar B focuses on early detection of breast cancer and includes a set of easy-to-use, highly accurate and affordable technologies to be scaled up and validated in 5 countries (United Kingdom, Lithuania, Portugal, Czech Republic, Greece).
Pillar C includes several digital and AI technologies that can optimally support and improve risk assessment (Pillar A) and early detection (Pillar B) in routine healthcare.
Pillar D includes activities to ensure, implement and adopt DISARM solutions in routine healthcare.
