Ultrasonography course for midwives
The aim of the course is to acquire and deepen theoretical knowledge and practical skills with which the midwife acquires professional theoretical and practical knowledge and skills for performing and evaluating ultrasonographic examination.
The course is designed for:
- for midwives after completion of the adaptation process and qualified for the profession without professional supervision, with at least one year experience at US workplace.
The total length of the program is 12 months, totaling 210 hours.
Theoretical part - 60 h.
Practical part - 150 h.
Course term 2020:
Dates will be set according to the number of candidates.
Theoretical part: lecture room of Gynecology and Obstetrics of General Teaching Hospital, Apolinářská 8, Prague 2,
Practical part: Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Apolinářská 8, Prague 2; Department of Ultrasound Diagnostics and Fetal Medicine Center and accredited workplace of the student's choice.
Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will receive a certificate from the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.
