Course characteristics

The course focuses on developing practical skills, clinical reasoning and teamwork in providing nursing care in the emergency and intensive care settings. The training is delivered through realistic simulation situations that reflect common and complex clinical patient conditions.

Simulation training enables safe practice of procedures, supports the ability to recognize a patient's deterioration and respond appropriately within the competence of a non-medical healthcare professional. The training also includes cooperation with a physician in resolving acute situations.

Emphasis is placed on connecting theoretical knowledge with practical decision-making and effective communication within the healthcare team.

 

Program:

• Introduction to simulation training and familiarization with the environment (30 min)
• Simulation situation focused on the care of a patient in acute condition I (15 min)
• Analysis of the simulation process (debriefing) I (30 min)
• Simulation situation focused on the care of a patient in acute condition II (15 min)
• Analysis of the simulation process (debriefing) II (30 min)
• Break (15 minutes)
• Simulation situation focused on the care of a patient in acute condition III (15 min)
• Analysis of the simulation process (debriefing) III (30 min)
• Simulation situation focused on the care of a patient in acute condition IV (15 min)
• Analysis of the simulation process (debriefing) IV (30 min)
• Simulation situation focused on the care of a patient in acute condition V (15 min)
• Analysis of the simulation process (debriefing) V (30 min)
• Break (15 minutes)
• Practical training of selected skills useful in emergency and intensive care (60 min)
• Final summary and feedback (45 min)

CANCELLATION POLICY: If the client cancels their participation 14 calendar days before the start of the event, the cancellation fee is 100% of the set price of the event (the issued invoice must be paid). The exception is the proven inability of the client to work at the time of the event or other serious reasons. The head of the education department decides on exceptions.
