Pancreatic Cancer: Early Detection Saves Lives
Pancreatic cancer: Early detection saves lives!
In the Czech Republic, it affects up to 2,500 people annually, and the incidence of pancreatic cancer has been increasing worldwide in recent years!
Top experts at the VFN treat some of the most serious oncological diagnoses. We offer patients comprehensive diagnostics, treatment and the possibility of inclusion in preventive screening. The highest-risk group includes people over 50 years of age with a genetic burden in the family.
VFN provides genetic testing of hereditary cancer symptoms in both patients and their relatives, and also monitors people at high risk of this disease within the academic studies LIPIDICA / SCREPAN / HEPACAS. If you are interested in monitoring, please contact the study coordinator Jaroslava Březinová: Jaroslava.brezinova@vfn.cz
Newly diagnosed patients with pancreatic head cancer can contact the oncology care coordinator of the Comprehensive Oncology Center of the VFN, Martina Tesaříková: martina.tesarikova@vfn.cz
