WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?

• To carry out professional activities focused on hygiene issues in the environment of the largest hospital in the Czech Republic
• Focus on the areas of cleaning, disinfection and selection of appropriate disinfectants, sterilization and checking the effectiveness of sterilizers, proper use of medical devices, adherence to principles when handling biological material, laundry and waste
• Check compliance with the hygiene and epidemic regime in hospital workplaces, including hand hygiene procedures
• Cooperate with public health authorities
• Participate with other healthcare professionals in creating and updating operating procedures
• Educate healthcare personnel
• Set up and improve processes at VFN workplaces
• Provide support to non-healthcare workplaces in monitoring water quality, the indoor environment of buildings, and as part of preventive supervision during construction and renovations
• Evaluate and interpret the results of investigations and measurements of environmental and working environment components
• Participate in the preparation and implementation of projects related to the protection and promotion of public health

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• You have professional and medical qualifications according to Act No. 96/2004 Coll., the Act on Non-Medical Healthcare Professions
• You are proficient in working with MS Office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of applicable legal regulations, in particular Act No. 258/2000 Coll., Decree No. 306/2012 Coll., Decree No. 92/2012 Coll., Decree No. 43/2025 Coll., Decree 252/2004 Coll., including procedures for taking samples of the living and working environment (water sampling, measuring the quality of the indoor environment with an aeroscope, etc.) and knowledge of the methodology for checking the effectiveness of sterilization devices
• Your experience in professional work at a KHS/HSHMP or experience as a hygienist at another healthcare provider is an advantage (not a requirement).
• An active approach to work and responsibility is not strange to you
• You are able to work alone and in a team
• You want to learn new things and are flexible
• Can you prove us moral and civil integrity (pure criminal record)
