The General University Hospital in Prague is looking for an experienced manager for the position of Head of the Controlling Department.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?

• Manage and develop the controlling department and its team,
• coordinate the financial planning and budgeting process of the General Hospital,
• prepare and coordinate the hospital's financial plan,
• participate in the creation and implementation of the medium-term economic strategy of the VFN,
• create high-quality management information and financial analyses for hospital management,
• set up and develop controlling and financial processes,
• prepare methodological procedures in the field of financial management,
• analyze the hospital's economic situation and identify areas with potential for improving management,
• propose and coordinate corrective measures in the area of costs,
• prepare ad-hoc analyses, reports and documents for management decision-making,
• participate in the calculation and pricing of services paid outside the public health insurance system,
• cooperate on major projects and implementation of information systems,
• cooperate with other economic departments and individual departments of the General Hospital,
• participate in the further development of modern data and management management of the hospital.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The ideal candidate has:

• University education in economics,
• at least 5 years of experience in a similar position,
• experience in team management and development,
• very good analytical and economic thinking,
• the ability to work with extensive data and translate it into understandable managerial conclusions,
• very good organizational and communication skills,
• independent and systematic approach,
• ability to set priorities and complete tasks,
• experience with financial planning, budgeting and controlling,
• very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel,
• experience with BI tools, management reporting, financial information systems or the environment of a large and complex organization (an advantage, not a requirement),
• knowledge of SQL for working with data and analyzing it (an advantage, not a requirement),
• moral and civil integrity (clean criminal record).
