Specialists from the VFN will conduct free examinations at Karlovo náměstí in Prague 2 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is the third time that a unique opportunity to undergo a series of preventive examinations in one place, free of charge and without a referral from a general practitioner, will take place. The Health Day is organized by our hospital together with the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. The event was sponsored not only by the Minister of Health, Prof. Vlastimil Válek, but also by the Deputy Mayor of the City of Prague, Ing. Alexandra Udženija, and the Mayor of the Prague 2 district, Jan Korseska.

The event is connected with the prevention of common civilization diseases. These include high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity and skin cancer. A town of mobile surgeries with top doctors and specialists from our hospital will be built on Karlovo náměstí (towards Faustov dům). Last year, more than two thousand people took advantage of this opportunity. We believe that this year's interest will be even greater.

The entire afternoon will be hosted by presenter Michaela Maurerová, with music provided by DJ Jan Císař. Specialists from the VFN will take turns on stage throughout the afternoon, introducing visitors to a number of interesting facts from the world of health and medicine.
