Self-examination
Self-examination is very important for every woman. However, it is necessary to realize that the surface of the gland is not perfectly smooth and certain irregularities can be felt almost always. The examination is advisable to be performed once a month after menstruation (5th-10th day), when the gland is least affected by hormonal changes and the number of irregularities is the smallest. Women who do not menstruate should perform the examination once a month at regular intervals.
However, if you find a lump, there is no need to panic. In a high percentage of cases, it is something other than cancer. However, it is necessary to undergo an examination at a specialized clinic.
