Mammography screening
Mammography screening is preventive examination intended for women over 45. It is performed once every 2 years only in women without complications with breasts (i.e. in women who, for example, have not felt a lump in their breast, do not have a newly inverted or otherwise changed nipple). For these preventive examinations, a two-year interval must be observed between individual examinations.
