In the general outpatient clinic, we examine and treat patients with acute and chronic problems in the nose, throat and ears. It also provides complete consulting services for clinics and institutes of the General Hospital, the Institute of Rheumatology and the UGCT, and superconsulting services for non-inpatient facilities.
Enrollment of unbooked patients for examination takes place between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. After the daily capacity is filled, the enrollment of other patients is terminated.
To facilitate the examination, it is advisable to bring a recommendation from a general practitioner or specialist.
Ordering patients via email is not possible.
The waiting time for an outpatient examination can be several hours, depending on the circumstances.
Reception of booked patients for hospitalization is on Sundays or public holidays 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

The last patient is admitted for treatment at 6:30 p.m.Treatment in the hospital emergency department is intended for sudden and urgent problems:
- Worsening of an existing illness
- Bleeding
- Choking
- Swelling
- Injuries
On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, inpatient ward visits, dressings, administration of medications and inhalations, and admission of patients for hospitalization take place between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
The emergency service does not replace the regular ENT clinic, which is in operation:
Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
We deal with urgent cases even during the normal ambulance hours, in these cases use the normal office hours.Contact information

It deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the inner ear and auditory balance nerve (dizziness, tinnitus, perceptual hearing loss).
Patients are examined by prior telephone order.
Laboratory equipment: Videonystagmography - enables objective and quantitative diagnosis of labyrinth function using caloric examination by bitermal method.

The otological clinic deals with the diagnosis and therapy of diseases of the middle ear and external auditory canal. The examination takes place on the bed under the control of a microscope. In the otological clinic, minor surgical procedures are performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia, and post-operative care is also provided here.
Patients are examined and treated by prior arrangement.

This is an outpatient examination of swallowing using a flexible endoscope. The examination is carried out in cooperation with clinical speech therapists from the Neurological Clinic of the 1st Faculty of Medicine, UK and VFN. During the examination, the patient swallows different consistencies of food. The result is an evaluation of the course of swallowing and, if pathology is detected, a therapy proposal.
The examination is performed only on the basis of a request from other doctors and after a previous telephone order.
