Albert Day with brain injury patients

This year, the event will take place on Wednesday, May 15, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at a new, non-traditional location on Palackého náměstí, near the František Palacký monument. It is not possible to follow up on the previous two editions in Studničková street in Albertov due to ongoing construction works.

The organizer is again the Clinic of Rehabilitation Medicine of the 1st Medical Faculty of the Charles University and the General University Hospital in Prague, together with the non-profit company Rehalb and the association Cesta za snem. The event is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the Mayor of Prague 2, Jan Korsesky.

At the planned stations, it will be possible to try out specially adapted bicycles, wheelchairs, various splints, orthoses, learn about the operation of electric drives for mechanical wheelchairs, stair climbers and other aids for use at home and during active movement. Once again, there will be an opportunity to compete on the trainers of the non-profit organization Cesta za snem, complete a specially prepared mini-orienteering run or try kinn-ball, or a game with a big ball.

Experts from the Clinic of Rehabilitation Medicine and exhibitors of aids are ready to provide important and necessary information to anyone interested. The following will be exhibiting at the event: AVZ servis, AZUB bikes, Cerebrum, Ipsen, FiveSteps, Flexithrone, Meyra, Vodička and Sivak inflatable splints.

The afternoon will be conducted by TV presenter Karel Voříšek. Visitors will be able to have refreshments at the "Mark's Garden" stand. The event is free for visitors!
