Diagnosis and therapy of diseases of teeth and other tissues of oral cavity in children, treatment of non-cooperating children under analgosedation and general anesthesia. Care of patients with congenital and acquired disorders of hard dental tissues, treatment of early childhood caries according to the principles of interceptive dentistry.

Is your child difficult to treat at the dentist?

The Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the VFN specializes in comprehensive care for young patients and also takes care of children with special needs or higher health risks.

The Dental Clinic of the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and the General Hospital is one of the few institutions in the Czech Republic that provides dental treatment to children under general anesthesia or analgosedation on an outpatient basis.

VFN has joined a pilot program that currently provides full reimbursement of such treatment in a pediatric dental clinic for VZP, Škoda Employee Insurance, ČPZP, or RBP Health Insurance policyholders. If you have another health insurance company, ask if they already support the program.
