Outpatient clinic is engaged in diagnostics and surgical treatment of diseases of hard and soft tissues of oral cavity.
We perform the following surgical procedures: simple tooth extraction, surgical tooth extraction (uncut teeth, left roots of teeth), root tip resection, periapical excochleation (removal of inflammatory foci from tooth root tip area), fenestration, tunneling (operative stripping of a non-cut tooth crown allowing gluing orthodontic arc thrust), oroantral communication closure (pathological connection of oral cavity with maxillary cavity), removal of mucosal thrust, exstirpation of cysts of hard and soft tissues of oral cavity, extirpation and excision of benign tumors, diagnostic excision on suspicion of malignant tumors salivary glands.
We treat tooth injuries, hanging apparatus, soft tissues, gingival process, lower jaw fracture (conservative treatment), inflammatory diseases around the upper and lower jaw. We also treat patients at risk (patients within the framework of the rehabilitation of dental focal infections, patients who use bisphosphonates).

The counseling center provides a comprehensive examination, determination of the treatment procedure, appropriate rehabilitation and dispensarization of patients with cancer of the mouth and face. It also provides consulting services. He closely cooperates with other departments of the clinic, VFN department and other medical facilities of the Czech Republic.

The clinic deals with indications for microsurgical reconstructive procedures in the treatment of congenital, acquired and postoperative deformities and facial defects. It provides consulting services for the whole Czech Republic.

Only ordered patients with written recommendation. Ordering by phone or personal ordering at the surgical clinic (entrance A10) patient reception. The clinic carries out examination, diagnosis and surgical treatment of benign and malignant skin lesions.
Performance spectrum: excision, extirpation, autotransplant defects or skin lobes. For more serious diagnoses, we carry out extirpation of nodes, block neck dissections, etc. We do not perform: diagnosis and treatment of common skin diseases (performed by a dermatologist). Cooperation: Department of Dermatovenerology, Center of Photonic Medicine, Department of Oncology.

The counseling center performs in cooperation with the orthodontic department. clinics examination and diagnosis of congenital and acquired facial defects. It indicates optimal methods of treatment and postoperative rehabilitation. He closely cooperates with the Sleep Laboratory of the Neurological Clinic of the First Faculty of Medicine and the General Teaching Hospital in Prague by surgical treatment of the obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.

The Counseling Center deals with proposals for the treatment of large-scale facial defects of various origins, especially after radical oncological operations and coordination of subsequent reconstructive care with plastic substitutes - epitheses. He works closely with Maxillofacial Surgery and Implantology Counseling.

The TMJ Clinic provides comprehensive examination, diagnosis and treatment of TMJ diseases.
Thanks to the cooperation of the maxillofacial surgeon with the prosthetic department, the pediatric rheumatology clinic, the orthognathic clinic, the physiotherapist and other departments of the VFN, we offer a wide range of treatment options for temporomandibular joint disorders: from conservative, minimally invasive (arthrocentesis, arthroscopy) to open surgical therapy including temporomandibular joint reconstruction.

The outpatient clinic performs a professional examination and subsequently diagnoses the intolerance of metallic materials using the MELISA® test. The examination before the MELISA® test is covered by health insurance, the actual performance of the MELISA® test is charged at CZK 5,500. In selected indications, it is possible to perform the MELISA® test at the expense of research.
