GE Discovery 690 PET / CT camera available, 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose, 18F-fluoro-L-thymidine, 18F-methylcholine, 18F-fluciclovin and 18F-DOPA are among the available radiopharmaceuticals.
PET / CT examination is performed only at ONM II workplace in the VFN. When ordering patients on PET / CT diagnosis in prostate cancer patients (18F-choline / 18F-fluciclovin (Axumin)) form for PET / CT in prostate cancer. Due to the high cost of these examinations, the indications and expected benefits should be carefully considered in the clinical context of each patient. Each case must be discussed in a multidisciplinary seminar with the presence of a urologist focused on prostate cancer, oncologist (radiotherapist) and nuclear medicine physician. According to the conclusion of the seminar, the indication will not be recommended (indicating physician will be informed), additional information will be requested or the indication will be confirmed together with the choice of investigative substance. The patient will be contacted by the deadline. Without completing the above form, orders will not be accepted, the order form may contain only essential facts in brief form.
