The Angiographic Department of the Radiodiagnostic Clinic is part of the Complex Cardiovascular Center and the Center for Vascular Access of the General University Hospital in Prague. The department is accredited for the fields of Interventional Radiology and Vascular Intervention Radiology. The catheter hall is equipped with the Toshiba Infinix angiographic line and the Toshiba Viamo SSA-640A / E1 sonographic instrument. The department specializes mainly in the treatment of vascular access for hemodialysis and oncological interventions. In addition to conventional angiography performed with iodine contrast medium, we also use carbon dioxide angiography and perform dialysis treatment under sonographic control without the use of contrast media. In addition to the planned procedures, we also perform procedures in acute conditions, such as acute ischemia or bleeding. We examine and treat about one thousand patients a year.
