IV. internal clinic - The Gastroenterology and Hepatology Clinic participates in a global research initiative for the screening of patients with severe, advanced and progressive form of metabolic steatohepatitis (MASH) under the name GRIPonMASH. Our workplace will actively participate especially in the clinical part of the project, the diagnosis of MASLD (metabolic steatotic liver disease), the assessment of the severity of this chronic liver disease and the collection of biological material from patients.

COMPREHENSIVE LIVER SCREENING AT THE GENERAL HOSPITAL!

Practitioners, diabetologists and internists – take advantage of the opportunity to send your patients with type II DM, hypertension or obesity to us for a special examination!

We offer patients with cardiometabolic risk a specialized examination focused on comprehensive screening of liver function and possible liver damage. 

The examination is intended for:

– patients with type 2 diabetes
– patients with obesity (BMI over 25)
– patients with arterial hypertension
– patients with metabolic syndrome

What the examination includes:

– comprehensive laboratory examination
– medical examination and assessment of individual diseases and risks
– assessment and possible education on lifestyle adjustments
– assessment of the degree of fibrosis and fatty liver (Fibroscan®)
– consultation and possible dispensary

The examination takes place at our office. After it is completed, you will receive a complete report including recommendations for further treatment.
